Often after completion of the assessment interview people think of things, they wanted to tell the assessor and either forgot or didn’t get an opportunity to say or circumstances may suddenly change.

You can provide additional information to your assessor up to seven days by email to admin@vicpsychplus to let the assessor know.

It is important to note that the after seven (7) days the assessor is unable to accept new information or further discuss the case with you.

This is because the assessor is subject by legislation and the Australian Psychological Society Code of Professional Conduct. Once the assessor commences writing your report, they become a Witness for the Court. Once they are a potential witness for the court the only communication allowed is by way of cross-examination in Court. This means that if you have questions or concerns about the assessment you can only ask those questions in cross examination in the court process.
